This Bimetal Connector is a conductor connection made of aluminum and connected to copper. Its bending system does not have any auxiliary materials, so the compound is attached. It can be mounted automatically, bolted or compressed to connect popular connectors (aluminum, copper or bimetal) and support wires of various sizes and types. It has the advantages of good electrical conductivity, electrochemical corrosion and long service life.
1. Bimetal Connector's barrel is friction welded with the pin to achieve the best transition between the copper pin and the aluminum barrel. Friction welding is an excellent technique for achieving complete bonding between aluminum and copper. The inner surface of the aluminum component is grooved at the manufacturing stage and greased to ensure good electrical contact with the wires to be connected. The aluminum cylinder is provided with shear head bolts for controlling the tightening torque.
2. Bimetal Connector is used to connect the tap conductor to a power supply (transformer, circuit breaker, circuit breaker, etc.) or wall bushing of a substation. It is also used to connect the tap conductors of the T-connector. The connector consists of a compression type and a bolted connection, both of which are at an angle of 0°, 30° and 90° to the direction of the tap conductor.
